The original Paleo diet was a diet that enabled one to eat meat, fish, nuts, and seeds in moderation. It encouraged people to stay away from processed foods, sugars, alcohol, and white flour in favor of natural foods. For those who enjoyed the eating patterns, it was a healthy way to live.

They typically eat as much as they like each day, as long as it doesn’t exceed two hundred calories. This is because they wish to eliminate processed foods and other bad carbs.

Remember, even though a Paleo diet isn’t the same as the diet that may have been recommended by a doctor, most Paleo followers would consider it to be a healthy eating plan. If you’re not comfortable with eliminating all processed foods from your life, there are still many Paleo recipes available online that won’t trigger any digestive problems.
